About the Sunshine Kids Foundation
The Sunshine Kids Foundation is a national non-profit organization dedicated to children with cancer. SSK provides positive group activities and emotional support for young cancer patients. The Sunshine Kids is funded by contributions from individuals, corporations and philanthropic foundations. It offers a variety of programs and events, free of charge, for children receiving cancer treatments in hospitals across the United States, Canada and Mexico.
The Sunshine Kids look forward to the day when the foundation no longer needs to exist. Until then, the Foundation Board and the entire SSK family provide the finest programs and trips to as many kids as possible. Under the leadership of Executive Director Jennifer Wisler, the SSK staff and the support of hundreds of volunteers, the foundation will continue to expand its efforts to bring ‘sunshine’ into the lives of kids with cancer.
